As the authors presented, the fluctuating velocity is defined as <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-8b4993ae2c22e282a078c5720027283d_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#123;&#117;&#94;&#39;&#125;&#61;&#117;&#45;&#98;&#97;&#114;&#123;&#117;&#125;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"17\" width=\"106\" style=\"vertical-align: 0px;\"\/> , the difference between instantaneous velocity <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-43fe27dc3e528266a619764d90fce60b_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#117;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"8\" width=\"10\" style=\"vertical-align: 0px;\"\/> and mean velocity <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-d3729884b4eecba0bf64ea4840ecc0db_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#98;&#97;&#114;&#123;&#117;&#125;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"12\" width=\"35\" style=\"vertical-align: 0px;\"\/>. However, we agree that <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-ecb65d3e4588c9ad49c5065756585ecf_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#117;&#95;&#123;&#80;&#67;&#45;&#77;&#82;&#73;&#125;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"11\" width=\"74\" style=\"vertical-align: -3px;\"\/> as an outcome of time-averaging in a voxel loses the turbulent characteristics mostly and high <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-b37959059f9ab9f3cf39831e7962f54a_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#12310;&#117;&#39;&#12311;&#95;&#123;&#114;&#109;&#115;&#125;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"18\" width=\"35\" style=\"vertical-align: -4px;\"\/> values in Figure 5 were largely affected by the artifact due to low signal-to-noise ratio [2]. Interpretation of our data about velocity fluctuations should be limited when analyzing <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/ql-cache\/quicklatex.com-ecb65d3e4588c9ad49c5065756585ecf_l3.png\" class=\"ql-img-inline-formula quicklatex-auto-format\" alt=\"&#117;&#95;&#123;&#80;&#67;&#45;&#77;&#82;&#73;&#125;\" title=\"Rendered by QuickLaTeX.com\" height=\"11\" width=\"74\" style=\"vertical-align: -3px;\"\/> as is, and MR turbulent mapping can be performed within a feasible time by applying refined methods as the authors stated.<br \/>\nIn the last decade, novel techniques have been developed to evaluate the turbulent characteristics using 4D PC-MRI, which allow faster and more accurate acquisition of flow patterns [3-5]. These techniques applied to measurement of cardiovascular blood flows in vivo have been used to find a correlation between turbulent flow patterns and diagnostic parameters [6; 7]. Together with introduction of a more elaborate method [8], MR turbulent mapping will offer more opportunities to implement 4D PC-MRI in clinical situations and facilitate better understanding of cardiovascular physiology beyond a direct interpretation of flow measurement as in our work.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you would like to comment on this letter, please send your comments together with full contact data to <a href=\"mailto:office@european-radiology.org\">office@european-radiology.org<\/a>.
