This talented group will meet for the first time in person at ECR 2026, kicking off a\u00a010-month reviewer training journey. Throughout the programme, they will gain hands-on experience evaluating submitted manuscripts, learning how to assess formal criteria, scientific rigour, and how to craft clear, constructive recommendations for handling editors. As always, the fellows will be guided and supported by our esteemed Deputy Editors, whose mentorship is central to the fellowship\u2019s mission. Maurizio Balbi<\/b>\u00a0is an academic radiologist at the University of Turin, Italy. His clinical and research work focuses on thoracic imaging, particularly interstitial lung disease and lung cancer, including interventional procedures and AI-based applications. He is involved in Italian lung cancer screening trials and is a member of the EuSoMII Young Club Committee.<\/p>\n

Haoyin Cao<\/b>\u00a0is a Radiology Resident at Charit\u00e9 \u2013 Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin, specializing in abdominal and breast imaging. She completed a research traineeship at Johns Hopkins University, USA, deepening her expertise in radiological research. She is currently a member of the EUSOBI Young Club committee.<\/p>\n

Ioana-Andreea C\u00eerlig<\/b>\u00a0is a fourth-year radiology resident and PhD student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania. Her clinical and academic work focuses on diagnostic imaging, with particular emphasis on breast imaging. She is an ESOR Bracco Fellow and completed clinical training at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan. She is actively involved in research and teaching and aims to further develop skills in scientific writing and peer review.<\/p>\n

Shritik Devkota<\/b>\u00a0is a clinical fellow at the Cleveland Clinic with a strong academic and research background. With 30 publications and multiple awards during medical school and residency, he brings substantial scholarly expertise to evidence-based diagnostics. He also serves as a reviewer for several PubMed-indexed journals and is looking forward to further refine his skills as a peer reviewer.<\/p>\n

He is actively engaged in scientific editorial work across national and international trainee initiatives, as well as in social media management and scientific dissemination within major radiological societies.<\/p>\n

She specialises in diagnostic and interventional gastrointestinal radiology, with a focus on the management of hepatocellular carcinoma and complications of portal hypertension.\u00a0 She aims to combine her clinical work and research to support meaningful improvements in patient care.<\/p>\n

Tu\u011f\u00e7e Hanc\u0131o\u011flu\u00a0<\/b>is a board-certificated radiologist at Manisa Merkezefendi State Hospital with special interest in head and neck imaging. Completed 2024 ESOR Bracco Fellowship at Guy\u2019s and St Thomas\u2019 Hospital on advanced MRI techniques in otology. Undertaking ESOR head and neck fellowship at London Northwick Park Hospital and contributing to the ESHNR SHINE Working Group.<\/p>\n

Sabine A. Heinz<\/b>\u00a0is a fifth-year radiology resident in the \u201cUniversit\u00e4ts- und Rehabilitationskliniken\u201d Ulm, Germany. Her work for her PhD in Groningen, the Netherlands, resulted in several peer-reviewed scientific publications, fueling her interest to hone her skills in the editorial workflow. She is interested in neuroradiology, MSK and use of healthcare resources.<\/p>\n

Stefano Lusi<\/b>\u00a0is a board-certified radiologist with a passionate commitment to musculoskeletal radiology \u2013 diagnostic, interventional, and AI-driven. His clinical and research interests focus on advancing MSK imaging techniques and AI applications. During ECR 2025, he was honoured with the Best Research Presentation Abstract Award on MSK topic. He completed an MSK fellowship in Vienna and he was further endorsed by an ESOR\/ESSR fellowship in Paris, where he is now currently working as an MSK radiologist. He also serves as Chair-Elect of the ESSR Young Club.<\/p>\n

He holds PhD in Clinical Neurosciences and MSc in Radiography. His focus is on carotid atherosclerosis, cerebrovascular events, and neuroimaging, with experience in meta-analyses.<\/p>\n

His commitment to research is evident through numerous peer-reviewed publications and reviewer work for several high-impact radiological and broad discipline medical journals. He has a strong enthusiasm for editorial and research work and a constant tendency to further improve his knowledge.<\/p>\n

Since March of 2025, he is a holder of the European Diploma in Thoracic Imaging (ESTI Diploma, EDiTI).<\/p>\n
