<\/p>\nEuropean Radiology<\/i> and its Editor in Chief, Prof. Bernd Hamm, proudly announce the next generation of Review Fellows.<\/p>\n
The selected candidates will join us for an in-person meeting at ECR 2025. This marks the beginning of a 6 months long reviewer training period, during which they will become familiar with analyzing submitted manuscripts for formal criteria and scientific rigour and how to make recommendations to the handling editor. Fellows will complete this training under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced Deputy Editors.<\/p>\n

Mohamed A. Abdelatty<\/strong> began his radiology training at Cairo University, where he earned his MSc in 2017 and MD\/PhD in 2021. His international experience includes fellowships at UCLH and NKI, where he had the privilege of mentorship by leading radiologists. Currently, he serves as vice chair of the ESUR pelvic floor working group, a tenured lecturer at Cairo University, and a radiologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matthaios Triantafyllou<\/strong> is the Chief Radiology Resident at the University General Hospital of Heraklion, Crete. His academic focus includes radiomics, AI in imaging, and musculoskeletal radiology. He holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Crete\u2019s Artificial Intelligence and Translational Imaging Laboratory.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Amit Gupta<\/strong> is a Radiology Research Consultant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India, specializing in Pediatric Imaging. He received the Frank Doyle medal (RCR), and ECPR Junior Grant in 2023 was selected for IRIYA at RSNA 2024. His research focuses on optimizing large language models for patient-centric workflows and AI integration for breast cancer screening in resource-constrained settings.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Marliza O’Dwyer<\/strong> is a radiology Specialist Registrar at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland, with a clinical and research focus on Cardiothoracic and Interventional Radiology. A Trinity College Dublin graduate, she completed core surgical training and worked as a cardiothoracic surgical trainee before radiology.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Francesco Tiralongo<\/strong> works as a radiologist at the University Hospital Policlinico “G. Rodolico” in Catania, Italy. His clinical and research interests focus on emergency radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, and interventional radiology. He has a strong enthusiasm for editorial and research work.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Liam O\u2019Halloran<\/strong> is a fourth-year radiology resident at University Hospital Limerick and board-certified family physician and pharmacist, has a strong academic background, including a doctorate and numerous peer-reviewed publications. His clinical expertise and research contributions reflect a commitment to advancing radiology and improving patient outcomes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Teresa Perillo<\/strong> is a board-certified radiologist, currently working as consultant Neuroradiologist at \u201cAORN dei Colli\u201d, Naples, Italy. She is interested in Neuroradiology, Head and Neck Imaging and AI applications in radiology. She serves as reviewer for multiple journals and has co-authored more than 50 scientific publications.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Caterina Battaglia <\/strong>is a fourth-year radiology resident and a Phd student at University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro, Italy. She is interested in Artificial Intelligence, Chest Radiology and Pediatric Radiology. She has always been interested in research and with this opportunity wants to improve her skills.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Costanza Lisi<\/strong> is a radiologist and a PhD student at Humanitas University, Milan. Her main interest is Cardiovascular Imaging. She was further endorsed by the ESOR BRACCO researche fellowship 2024 taking place at the Z\u00fcrich University Hospital. Her PhD project in mainly centered on the role of advanced Cardiac CT imaging technology for novel targeted atherosclerosis therapy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paolo Rondi<\/strong> is a board-certified radiologist and PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at the University of Brescia, Italy. His clinical and research interests include Head and Neck Radiology, Radiomics, and Cardiovascular Radiology. He recently completed a fellowship sponsored by ESOR and ESHNR at Guy\u2019s Hospital in London, further advancing his expertise in his field.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Giulia Vatteroni<\/strong> is a board-certified radiologist and PhD student at Humanitas University, Milan. Her clinical and research work focuses on breast radiology, with her PhD\u00a0 <\/span>centred on the use of contrast-enhanced mammography in women with a history of breast cancer treated with breast-conserving surgery. In 2024, she was honoured with the prestigious RSNA Trainee Research Prize. She is currently a member of the EUSOBI Young Club committee.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Georgios Agrotis<\/strong> is an oncology researcher with a clinical background, specializing in prostate MRI, biopsy techniques, and AI-driven diagnostics.
