Baert Fellows 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <em>European Radiology<\/em> Editorial Team is delighted to the recipients of the prestigious <strong>Albert L. Baert Editorial Fellowship<\/strong>! Our two<strong> Fellows will join us at <\/strong><strong>ECR 2024<\/strong> where they will have a special introductory meeting with the Editor in Chief Bernd Hamm, as well as our distinguished Deputy Editors. Over the next year they will participate in a remote training program, where they will learn the ins and outs of the journal to gain insight into the work of an Editor.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more about them below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5382 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/Caterina-Monti-1-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dr. <strong>Caterina Beatrice Monti<\/strong> is a fourth year resident in Radiology at the University of Milan (Italy), where she also completed her PhD studies. Her main interests are cardiovascular imaging, cardiothoracic imaging, chest imaging, and artificial intelligence. In addition, she is devoted to study methodology and statistics. During her activity as a reviewer, she has been distinguished with the <em>Insights into Imaging<\/em> Best Reviewer award in 2022, among others.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5383 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/Lucas-de-Padua-Gomes-de-Farias-2-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dr. <strong>Lucas de P\u00e1dua Gomes de Farias<\/strong> is a cardiothoracic radiologist working in the Department of Radiology at S\u00edrio-Liban\u00eas Hospital (Brazil) and completed his PhD studies at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo Medical School (Brazil). In addition, Lucas is the Chest Coordinator of the Radiology Online Course for Residencies at the S\u00e3o Paulo Society of Radiology at Allian\u00e7a Sa\u00fade.
