{"id":1100,"date":"2023-10-10T11:00:21","date_gmt":"2023-10-10T10:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/2023\/10\/10\/application-open-for-review-fellowships-2024\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T10:37:56","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T09:37:56","slug":"application-open-for-review-fellowships-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/highlights\/application-open-for-review-fellowships-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Application OPEN for Review Fellowships 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\">UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The European Society of Radiology announces the <em><strong>European Radiology<\/strong><\/em><strong> Review Fellowships in 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Up to 10 candidates will be trained as reviewers for <em>European Radiology<\/em> for a period of approximately 6 months (approximately March to September).<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Tasks<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fellowship will consist of an introductory meeting held at ECR 2024, followed by an online training session where the tasks and assignment will be explained.<br \/>\nThe introductory meeting and online training session will be led by the Editor-in-Chief of <em>European Radiology<\/em>, together with the Deputy Editors.<\/p>\n<p>Over the duration of the fellowship, the fellows will perform reviews of manuscripts, in addition to the reviews carried out by senior reviewers, and will have their work revised and analysed by a supervising Editor. Furthermore, the fellows will be required to support the dissemination and promotional efforts of accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Eligibility<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates still in training are preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a certified radiologist or radiology resident<\/li>\n<li>Be an active member of the European Society of Radiology<\/li>\n<li>Provide evidence of research and clinical activity in the field of Radiology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Benefits<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fellows will become familiar with manuscript handling, methods for analysing scientific papers and criteria for editorial decisions (accept, revise, reject, decline).<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the fellowship period, the fellows will receive a certificate and might remain as permanent reviewers for the journal.<\/p>\n<p>The selected fellows will receive free ECR 2024 registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Application<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications must include the following as PDF files:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/migrated\/2023\/10\/European-Radiology-Review-Fellowship-2024_Application-Questionnaire.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>questionnaire<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Curriculum vitae<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter (mentioning their preferred subspecialties, if any)<\/li>\n<li>Reference letter from a referee who is an active ESR member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must send all their documents together via email to <a href=\"mailto:office@european-radiology.org\">office@european-radiology.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>deadline<\/strong> for applications is <strong>01.12.2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:office@european-radiology.org\">office@european-radiology.org<\/a> for any questions.<\/p>\n<p>Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted\/eligible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL &nbsp; &nbsp; The European Society of Radiology announces the European Radiology Review Fellowships in 2024.
