We had obtained the strain ratio as the mean strain of the region of interest (ROI) on the normal tendon\/the mean strain of the ROI on the pathologic tendon. In a previous report involving the use of strain elastography study for medial epicondylitis, the strain ratio was calculated using the same method [2]. As speculated by you, it is possible to predict the calculation method from the strain ratio value.
