{"id":689,"date":"2026-06-17T16:00:37","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T15:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/?p=689"},"modified":"2026-06-17T16:25:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T15:25:15","slug":"impact-factor-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/news\/impact-factor-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact Factor 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is excited to announce the 2025 Impact Factor (IF) for <em>European Radiology Experimental<\/em>, <em>European Radiology<\/em>, and <em>Insights into Imaging<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>European Radiology Experimental\u2019s <\/em>2025 IF\u00a0continued its increase and has now reached a score of <strong>4.7 <\/strong>(IF 2024: 3.6),\u00a0ranking as\u00a0<strong>35 (Q1)<\/strong> in the category \u201cRadiology, Nuclear Medicine &amp; Medical Imaging\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>European Radiology\u2019s\u00a0<\/em>2025 IF soared to\u00a0<strong>6.0 <\/strong>from last year\u2019s 4.7, moving from rank 27 to rank <strong>22 (Q1) <\/strong>within the category.<\/p>\n<p><em>Insights into Imaging<\/em>\u00a0rose to an IF of\u00a0<strong>5.6 <\/strong>(IF 2024: 4.5), securing a very strong rank\u00a0<strong>24 (Q1)<\/strong> within the category.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in the IF scores, coupled with the improved ranking of all three ESR journals, marks yet another outstanding year for the ESR Journals. It represents a truly impressive achievement that is a testament to all the continued dedication, expertise, and hard work of the Editorial Teams, whose efforts have been instrumental in strengthening the journals\u2019 standing within the scientific community.<\/p>\n<p>The ESR and its leadership would like to express their sincere gratitude to\u00a0all authors, readers, reviewers,\u00a0and Editorial Teams for their invaluable contributions and ongoing commitment.
