{"id":63,"date":"2018-04-11T07:00:08","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T06:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/2018\/04\/11\/looking-back-ecr2018\/"},"modified":"2025-10-22T13:00:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T12:00:13","slug":"looking-back-ecr2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/news\/looking-back-ecr2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Looking back at a successful ECR 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The editorial team of European Radiology EXPERIMENTAL proudly looks back at a successful ECR 2018!<br \/>\nThe journal was prominently visible at the congress with print issues present at the Jams &amp; Journals booth, and a presentation from European Radiology EXPERIMENTAL Editor-in-Chief Prof. Francesco Sardanelli about the study design and structure of an original article at the <a href=\"http:\/\/ecronline.myesr.org\/ecr2018\/index.php?p=recorddetail&amp;rid=ac8f8a41-0e5b-45e7-b3ed-95c29c9f38c2&amp;t=browsesessions\" target=\"_blank\">ESR Publication Committee session<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jams &amp; Journals<\/strong><br \/>\nEuropean Radiology EXPERIMENTAL was also represented with special print issues containing the highlights of published articles at the Jams &amp; Journals-themed booth, dedicated to the journals published by the European Society of Radiology. The booth was prominently located in the main entrance hall, and also offered jams from <em>Unverschwendet<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-675\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/10\/ECR2018_Entrance-Hall_Wed_LO_9069-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt=\"ECR2018_Entrance Hall_Wed_LO_9069\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We noticed the large amount of congress visitors who came by at our booth, and we are proud of the abundance of enthusiasm and positive feedback we received about this concept, the journals, and of course the beautiful journal covers.<\/p>\n<p>The jams from <em>Unverschwendet<\/em> (meaning \u2018unwasted\u2019 in German) are made of surplus fruits and vegetables saved from waste, and as such greatly exemplify the sustainable image of ECR. The jams at our booth were available in the tastes Apricot Jam, Apple Poppyseed and Mustard, or Pear &amp; Chili Jelly. We happily look back at a successful ECR, also for European Radiology EXPERIMENTAL, and are glad we could engage in great conversations and answer many questions.
