This achievement underlines the importance of the journal in the field of radiology, providing a home for novel approaches and research in a pre-clinical setting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very proud of our young journal which received its first Impact Factor, as this underlines the significance of the journal\u2019s scope: all clinical or technical improvements in our practice started somewhere \u2013 as a new idea or an experimentation tested out in a pre-clinical setting before moving to the next step.<\/p>\n<p>This is a team achievement, and my gratitude goes out to the outstanding and committed editorial board members, to all our excellent reviewers, to the ESR journal office, and of course to all the authors who supported our young journal and trusted in our future\u201d, he says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Editor-in-Chief, Francesco Sardanelli, is overjoyed to announce the receipt of the journal\u2019s first-ever Impact Factor 2022 of 3.8.
