This review focuses on the potential use of DTI in this field, emphasising the translational aspects of this technique from the experimental to the clinical setting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eurradiolexp.springeropen.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s41747-018-0060-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Generative models: an upcoming innovation in musculoskeletal radiology? A preliminary test in spine imaging<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nA new innovative technology, deep learning, is revolutionising many research and industrial fields. Growing interest in generative models inspired the authors to explore their potential in the field of magnetic resonance imaging of the spine.
