Dr. Galbusera is a member of our<em> Information technology, big data, image reconstruction and post-processing<\/em> section.<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-490 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.myesr.org\/eur-radiol-exp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/10\/Fabio-Galbusera-199x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"Fabio Galbusera\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><em><strong>What is your special focus\/expertise?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nMy main research focus is the use of computer methods in medicine, especially for the study of the spine, with special regards to imaging technologies and machine learning.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>How did you decide on your specialty?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nI have a background in computer science and, during my subsequent bioengineering studies, I realized the huge potential of merging these two disciplines, and I decided to go that way.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What is your message to potential authors? Do you have any tips?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nDo not be afraid of experimenting with the use of novel and unconventional methods.
